IN THE SHADOW OF WOMEN

French romance drama. Mistresses, don't you know. Ok, it's not that bad, but there have been better movies in the past. Surprisingly few meal scenes, with the wine, etc., for a French film (it's the first thing I ever look for, and start counting). The movie does, however, open with a scene of the main character leaning against a wall while holding a baguette. So there's that. Vive la France! SCORE: 60.
