Ugh. I so wanted to like this, and some of it I did like, but it just seems like an overindulgence on the filmmaker's part. Ironic, since the movie is about overindulgence in the movie industry. One thing, it sure as hell is a good encapsulation of California ennui in the early 21st century. SCORE: 61.
