MOUNTAINS MAY DEPART

I just had no idea what was coming next as this movie unfolded and the plot wore on for the next two hours. In the end, it was such a unique, different, interesting, often and ultimately sad experience. As a movie, I loved it. See it. There's even a bit of sci-fi, depicting a near-future 2025 complete with transparent-glasslike tablet devices and smartphones. So many ideas and themes swirling around in this drama, it was a welcome surprise. SCORE: 90.
