CONCERTO: A BEETHOVEN JOURNEY

A superb musical documentary in every respect. The kind of thing that helps you better appreciate music and musicians. Loved this film. Now I have to go buy the multi-disc CD set of the pianist Leif Ove Andsnes's "A BEETHOVEN JOURNEY" the multi-year making of which is what the film's about. Another great aspect of this film is how they included segments where a narrator reads from Beethoven's own personal letters. You leave the theatre learning a great deal and feeling a bit exalted.
