The gimmick is the whole movie is supposedly filmed in one take, one long two-hour take. Okay, so we watch the movie to marvel at that, and when the story bogs down or the characters do something non-credible we have to fall back on watching the movie just to marvel at the single take. By the end, it feels like once more a movie where people make stupid decisions, decisions they come to regret, sometimes instantly, and the whole film feels kind of pointless, a witness to the banality of crime. Ok, so it's banal. Can I get my money back?
