THE HATEFUL EIGHT

Nasty, mean-spirited, overly-long, grisly, gory, ugly Tarantino flick with no redeeming value. And, Snake Plisskin destroys a priceless 1800s Gibson guitar onscreen. It's just gratuitous violence thoughout, whether physical or psychological. I kinda view this movie as a parable for what life in Hollywood is like: you can't trust anyone, everyone is out for a buck, everyone will cheat any way they can, everybody's stealing from everybody, everyone is a dirty rotten scoundrel, and winning is everything. Sounds fun, huh? SCORE: 13.
