THE BIG SHORT

Another film of which I'd read the book first, and in this case the film was in many ways better than the book, because the director took all kinds of liberty to make it a movie, including having characters talk directly to the camera and explain some of the financial jargon in little 'splainer vignettes that work quite well, surprisingly. Overall, a great movie, and a needed education for American moviegoers. SCORE: 85.
